Our Story:
Territory Tutorial Centre has the opportunity to interact with many school going children in various community events in different states of Australia we lived in. We noticed that the children have very inquisitive minds in different aspects of the natural world, and they get very easily attracted to a topic beyond their school level if it can be simplified for them to understand. From personal experience, discussing Fibonacci sequence and golden ratio to a group of children with rudimentary numerical ability, made them look wonderfully at the world around them and curious to learn more about geometry. With a natural ability to discuss mathematics and science in a story telling manner, coupled with decades of tutoring experience, we decided to embark on a journey to develop the curious minds of young students to the beautiful world of science and mathematics.
Mission and Vision:
Our mission is to inspire the students to cross the boundary they think is beyond their ability. Our mission is to inspire the students to burn the midnight oil and reap the benefits of hard labour. The tutor will discuss difficult topics to make them simple and easily understandable. Problems will be discussed to develop the thought process of the students. Our vision is to develop the analysing ability of the students so that they do not get overwhelmed by the apparent difficulty of a problem, but they start breaking down the whole into parts and start going one step at a time. The ultimate aim is to reach a stage where they will be self-reliant and will no longer need any help in their pursuit of education.
