Welcome to the Territory Tutorial Centre where our aim is to develop the love of science and mathematics to the young and curious minds. Our aim is to teach them the joy of learning and excel naturally in every subject.

Mathematics

The courses will cover all the topics of maths from basic numeracy to calculus for year 12. All the topics covered in NT schools will be discussed in the centre. Besides that, for students wanting to study online, or wanting to appear at national level mathematical competition, the topics of all other state syllabus will be covered.

Sciences

Courses will be the topics covered by ACARA (Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority) with special emphasis on the topics and projects covered in NT school syllabus. Students from interstate wanting to study online, other state syllabus will also be covered.

Physics

Courses will be the topics covered by ACARA (Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority) with special emphasis on the topics and projects covered in NT school syllabus. Students from interstate wanting to study online, other state syllabus will also be covered.

Course Offerings

Tutoring Approach

In Territory Tutorial Centre our goal is to take the student beyond the class syllabus and excel in the pursuit of knowledge. We will discuss and clarify any topic the student may find difficult to understand in their classwork.

Schedule and Fees

Each class will be of 2 hr duration. Classes will be held one day per week, 4 weeks a month. Pricing is for a minimum period of one month @ $200 for students of class 7 and 8. For year 9 to 12, the fees will be $250 per month. This pricing is same for only math or math and science combined.

We at Territory Tutorial Centre

Our Story: We had the opportunity to interact with many school going children in various community events in different states of Australia we lived in.  We noticed that the children have very inquisitive minds in different aspects of the natural world, and they get very easily attracted to a topic beyond their school level if it can be simplified for them to understand. From personal experience, discussing Fibonacci sequence and golden ratio to a group of children with rudimentary numerical ability, made them look wonderfully at the world around them and curious to learn more about geometry.  With a natural ability to discuss mathematics and science in a story telling manner, coupled with decades of tutoring experience, we decided to embark on a journey to develop the curious minds of young students to the beautiful world of science and mathematics.

Frequently Asked Question

  • Will additional study material be provided?

    Study materials will be kept at a minimum to avoid putting additional stress on students. For topics beyond school level, study materials and question papers with guidelines will be provided.

  • Will there be separate classes for math and science?

    No. For students of the same class in a group, math and science will be discussed in the same class as needed to keep up with the school and go ahead. When necessary for a student to learn about anything additionally, the extra time beyond the class hour will be utilised.

  • Will there be assistance with school homework?

    Assistance and guidance will be provided to students finding difficulty with any topic of homework. The students will be encouraged and guided to cover their own school task but repeated schoolwork requests from insincere students will be discouraged.

  • Will there be any option for tuition on an hourly basis?

    The enrolment will be for a minimum period of one month. No other option is available.

  • Is there any option to take classes online?

    The option is currently under consideration. Please record your interest.

  • Is it necessary to bring own devices?

    No. But it will be helpful if the students have access to email communication so that helpful study materials can be sent to them electronically to minimise printing.
